Program

• The Program refers to any course organized by FinGuru Education Private Limited (FinGuru).
• Student / Delegate refers to a candidate enrolled for any of the Programs with FinGuru Education Private Limited (FinGuru).

Exclusions

• The CFA Institute enrolment and registration fees are not included in the Program fees. This fee is set by the CFA Institute and is payable to the CFA Institute directly.
• The cost of study materials by other prep providers such as Kaplan Schweser is not included in the Program fee.
• The cost of calculators used in the preparation of the CFA Exam (BA II Plus Texas Instruments) is not included in the Program Fee.
• Finguru does not get involved in the process of exam registration with the CFA Institute. The candidate must check his eligibility, and provide relevant documents directly to the CFA Institute. This is solely the candidates responsibility.

Program Schedule

• FinGuru reserves the right to make variations to Program content, dates, venues, and timings, if such action is deemed necessary by FinGuru.
• Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum numbers are not met.
• Students are responsible for regularly checking their logins on FinGuru website (www.finguru.in) for the latest class schedules and venue details.
• Students are responsible for regularly checking their e-mail address for communications from FinGuru. Communications will be sent to the one email address identified by the Student.
• Students are responsible for notifying us immediately of any change in contact number and/or email address. Finguru cannot be responsible for any class(es) missed if we are not provided with your current contact details in a timely manner.
• In the event that a Student misses class(es), there will not be any separate, individual catch-up class.

Study Materials for CFA

• Students will get one copy of the slide handout for each study session/topic. Students who have misplaced or lost their study materials will not be given additional copies. For Students who fail to attend classes, all handouts and other classroom material will be distributed in the next class, if any, or will be couriered to their address at their own expense.
• All study tools provided to the Student will be used by the Student and no one else.
• All purchases are non-refundable.
• The teaching method and methodologies contained in the material supplied are confidential and proprietary to FinGuru and are not to be transferred or divulged to any other person by resale of the material or otherwise.

Refund Policy

General

• If the minimum numbers are not met, tuition fees are refunded.

A. Live Classroom Access & Crash Course

• The Student may cancel registration until 15 days prior to the Program start date for a full Program fee refund.
• There will be a 50% refund if the Student cancels registration within the 15 days prior to the Program start date.
• There will be no refund if the Student cancels registration after the Program start date.
• A flat amount of Rs.15000/- is non refundable upon accessing the FinGuru online portal.

B. Online Video Lectures

• Fee paid for the online Video Lectures is not refundable upon accessing the FinGuru online portal.

C. Online Testing Platform

• Fee paid for the online testing platform is non-refundable

Deferrals for CFA

Students wishing to defer their studies till the next exam/Program will NOT be granted a full or partial adjustment of their payable Program fees. Students may only defer their course fees paid to the next exam term/Program provided that the application for deferral is submitted one week before the course starts.

Class Conduct - Rules and Regulations

• Students are not allowed to record using any photographic, audio or video device any Finguru Program or part thereof.
• Students are requested to switch off their mobile phone or keep it on silent mode once the class has commenced.
• Students are requested to assist in ensuring that any and all litter is placed in the litter bins in order to maintain a garbage free, safe and healthy working environment.
• FinGuru reserves the right to terminate the Program enrolment of any Student acting in a manner that impairs, interferes with, or obstructs the orderly conduct, process, or functioning of the Program. In such a case, there will be no refund of the Program fees.

Personal Injury

• Finguru is not responsible for any injury caused by or to the Student or any other person by the Student, nor for the loss or damage to any personal property of the Student or caused by the Student arising from participation in the Program, attendance at FinGuru premises or from the activities of FinGuru.
• The Student agrees to participate in the Program at his or her own risk and agrees to release FinGuru, its employees, agents and contractors from any claim which the Student might otherwise be able to make.

Limitation on Damages

Finguru’s maximum liability relating to services under these terms and conditions shall be limited to the amount paid to FinGuru Education Private Limited by the Student.

Termination of Registration

• Finguru reserves the right to terminate the registration of the Student should he/she fail to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.
• The decision of the management will be final and abiding.
